Ezekiel 13

1And the wordH1697 of the LORDH3068 came to me, sayingH559, 2SonH1121 of manH120, prophesyH5012 against the prophetsH5030 of IsraelH3478 that prophesyH5012, and sayH559 thou to them that prophesyH5030 out of their own heartsH3820, HearH8085 ye the wordH1697 of the LORDH3068;1 3Thus saithH559 the LordH136 GODH3069; WoeH1945 to the foolishH5036 prophetsH5030, that followH1980H310 their own spiritH7307, and have seenH7200 nothing!23 4O IsraelH3478, thy prophetsH5030 are like the foxesH7776 in the desertsH2723. 5Ye have not gone upH5927 into the gapsH6556, neither made upH1443 the hedgeH1447 for the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478 to standH5975 in the battleH4421 in the dayH3117 of the LORDH3068.45 6They have seenH2372 vanityH7723 and lyingH3577 divinationH7081, sayingH559, The LORDH3068 saithH5002: and the LORDH3068 hath not sentH7971 them: and they have made others to hopeH3176 that they would confirmH6965 the wordH1697. 7Have ye not seenH2372 a vainH7723 visionH4236, and have ye not spokenH1696 a lyingH3577 divinationH4738, though ye sayH559, The LORDH3068 saithH5002 it ; although I have not spokenH559? 8Therefore thus saithH559 the LordH136 GODH3069; Because ye have spokenH1696 vanityH7723, and seenH2372 liesH3577, therefore, behold, I am against you, saithH5002 the LordH136 GODH3069. 9And my handH3027 shall be upon the prophetsH5030 that seeH2374 vanityH7723, and that divineH7080 liesH3577: they shall not be in the assemblyH5475 of my peopleH5971, neither shall they be writtenH3789 in the writingH3791 of the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478, neither shall they enterH935 into the landH127 of IsraelH3478; and ye shall knowH3045 that I am the LordH136 GODH3069.6

10Because, even because they have seducedH2937 my peopleH5971, sayingH559, PeaceH7965; and there was no peaceH7965; and one built upH1129 a wallH2434, and, loH2009, others daubedH2902 it with untemperedH8602 mortar :7 11SayH559 to them who daubH2902 it with untemperedH8602 mortar, that it shall fallH5307: there shall be an overflowingH7857 showerH1653; and yeH859, O great hailstonesH417H68, shall fallH5307; and a stormyH5591 windH7307 shall rendH1234 it . 12Lo, when the wallH7023 hath fallenH5307, shall it not be saidH559 to you, Where is the daubingH2915 with which ye have daubedH2902 it ? 13Therefore thus saithH559 the LordH136 GODH3069; I will even rendH1234 it with a stormyH5591 windH7307 in my furyH2534; and there shall be an overflowingH7857 showerH1653 in my angerH639, and great hailstonesH417H68 in my furyH2534 to consumeH3617 it . 14So will I break downH2040 the wallH7023 that ye have daubedH2902 with untemperedH8602 mortar, and bringH5060 it down to the groundH776, so that its foundationH3247 shall be made bareH1540, and it shall fallH5307, and ye shall be consumedH3615 in the midstH8432 of it: and ye shall knowH3045 that I am the LORDH3068. 15Thus will I accomplishH3615 my wrathH2534 upon the wallH7023, and upon them that have daubedH2902 it with untemperedH8602 mortar, and will sayH559 to you, The wallH7023 is no more, neither they that daubedH2902 it; 16That is, the prophetsH5030 of IsraelH3478 who prophesyH5012 concerning JerusalemH3389, and who seeH2374 visionsH2377 of peaceH7965 for her, and there is no peaceH7965, saithH5002 the LordH136 GODH3069.

17Likewise, thou sonH1121 of manH120, setH7760 thy faceH6440 against the daughtersH1323 of thy peopleH5971, who prophesyH5012 out of their own heartH3820; and prophesyH5012 thou against them, 18And sayH559, Thus saithH559 the LordH136 GODH3069; WoeH1945 to the women that sewH8609 magic charmsH3704 on all wristsH679H3027, and makeH6213 kerchiefsH4555 upon the headH7218 of every statureH6967 to huntH6679 soulsH5315! Will ye huntH6679 the soulsH5315 of my peopleH5971, and will ye saveH2421 the soulsH5315 aliveH2421 that come to you?8 19And will ye profaneH2490 me among my peopleH5971 for handfulsH8168 of barleyH8184 and for piecesH6595 of breadH3899, to slayH4191 the soulsH5315 that should not dieH4191, and to saveH2421 the soulsH5315 aliveH2421 that should not liveH2421, by your lyingH3576 to my peopleH5971 that hearH8085 your liesH3577? 20Therefore thus saithH559 the LordH136 GODH3069; Behold, I am against your magic charmsH3704, by which yeH859 there huntH6679 the soulsH5315 to make them flyH6524, and I will tearH7167 them from your armsH2220, and will let the soulsH5315 goH7971, even the soulsH5315 that ye huntH6679 to make them flyH6524.9 21Your kerchiefsH4555 also will I tearH7167, and deliverH5337 my peopleH5971 out of your handH3027, and they shall no more be in your handH3027 to be huntedH4686; and ye shall knowH3045 that I am the LORDH3068. 22Because with liesH8267 ye have made the heartH3820 of the righteousH6662 sadH3512, whom I have not made sadH3510; and strengthenedH2388 the handsH3027 of the wickedH7451, that he should not returnH7725 from his wickedH7563 wayH1870, by promising him lifeH2421:10 23Therefore ye shall seeH2372 no more vanityH7723, nor divineH7080 divinationsH7081: for I will deliverH5337 my peopleH5971 out of your handH3027: and ye shall knowH3045 that I am the LORDH3068.
