Numbers 16:29-50

29If these men dieH4191 the common deathH4194 of all menH120, or if they be visitedH6485 after the visitationH6486 of all menH120; then YhwhH3068 hath not sentH7971 me.1 30But if YhwhH3068 makeH1254 a new thingH1278, and the earthH127 openH6475 her mouthH6310, and swallow them upH1104, with all that appertain unto them, and they go downH3381 quickH2416 into the pitH7585; then ye shall understandH3045 that these menH582 have provokedH5006 YhwhH3068.2

31And it came to pass, as he had made an endH3615 of speakingH1696 all these wordsH1697, that the groundH127 clave asunderH1234 that was under them: 32And the earthH776 openedH6605 her mouthH6310, and swallowed them upH1104, and their householdsH1004, and all the menH120 that appertained unto KorahH7141, and all their goodsH7399. 33They, and all that appertained to them, went downH3381 aliveH2416 into the pitH7585, and the earthH776 closedH3680 upon them: and they perishedH6 from amongH8432 the congregationH6951. 34And all IsraelH3478 that were round aboutH5439 them fledH5127 at the cryH6963 of them: for they saidH559, Lest the earthH776 swallow us upH1104 also. 35And there came outH3318 a fireH784 from YhwhH3068, and consumedH398 the two hundredH3967 and fiftyH2572 menH376 that offeredH7126 incenseH7004.

36And YhwhH3068 spakeH1696 unto MosesH4872, sayingH559, 37SpeakH559 unto EleazarH499 the sonH1121 of AaronH175 the priestH3548, that he take upH7311 the censersH4289 outH996 of the burningH8316, and scatterH2219 thou the fireH784 yonderH1973; for they are hallowedH6942. 38The censersH4289 of these sinnersH2400 against their own soulsH5315, let them makeH6213 them broadH7555 platesH6341 for a coveringH6826 of the altarH4196: for they offeredH7126 them beforeH6440 YhwhH3068, therefore they are hallowedH6942: and they shall be a signH226 unto the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478. 39And EleazarH499 the priestH3548 tookH3947 the brasenH5178 censersH4289, wherewith they that were burntH8313 had offeredH7126; and they were made broadH7554 plates for a coveringH6826 of the altarH4196: 40To be a memorialH2146 unto the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, thatH4616H834 no strangerH2114H376, which is not of the seedH2233 of AaronH175, come nearH7126 to offerH6999 incenseH7004 beforeH6440 YhwhH3068; that he be not as KorahH7141, and as his companyH5712: as YhwhH3068 saidH1696 to him by the handH3027 of MosesH4872.

41But on the morrowH4283 all the congregationH5712 of the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 murmuredH3885 against MosesH4872 and against AaronH175, sayingH559, Ye have killedH4191 the peopleH5971 of YhwhH3068. 42And it came to pass, when the congregationH5712 was gatheredH6950 against MosesH4872 and against AaronH175, that they lookedH6437 toward the tabernacleH168 of the congregationH4150: and, behold, the cloudH6051 coveredH3680 it, and the gloryH3519 of YhwhH3068 appearedH7200. 43And MosesH4872 and AaronH175 cameH935 beforeH6440 the tabernacleH168 of the congregationH4150.

44And YhwhH3068 spakeH1696 unto MosesH4872, sayingH559, 45Get you upH7426 from amongH8432 this congregationH5712, that I may consumeH3615 them as in a momentH7281. And they fellH5307 upon their facesH6440.

46And MosesH4872 saidH559 unto AaronH175, TakeH3947 a censerH4289, and putH5414 fireH784 therein from offH6440 the altarH4196, and putH7760 on incenseH7004, and goH3212 quicklyH4120 unto the congregationH5712, and make an atonementH3722 for them: for there is wrathH7110 gone outH3318 from YhwhH3068; the plagueH5063 is begunH2490. 47And AaronH175 tookH3947 as MosesH4872 commandedH1696, and ranH7323 into the midstH8432 of the congregationH6951; and, behold, the plagueH5063 was begunH2490 among the peopleH5971: and he putH5414 on incenseH7004, and made an atonementH3722 for the peopleH5971. 48And he stoodH5975 between the deadH4191 and the livingH2416; and the plagueH4046 was stayedH6113. 49Now they that diedH4191 in the plagueH4046 were fourteenH6240H702 thousandH505 and sevenH7651 hundredH3967, beside them that diedH4191 about the matterH1697 of KorahH7141. 50And AaronH175 returnedH7725 unto MosesH4872 unto the doorH6607 of the tabernacleH168 of the congregationH4150: and the plagueH4046 was stayedH6113.
