Revised Literal Translation
Jeremiah 9:4-8
4Take ye heedH8104 every oneH376 of his neighbourH7453, and trustH982 ye not in any brotherH251: for every brotherH251 will utterlyH6117 supplantH6117, and every neighbourH7453 will walkH1980 with slandersH7400.1
5And they will deceiveH2048 every oneH376 his neighbourH7453, and will not speakH1696 the truthH571: they have taughtH3925 their tongueH3956 to speakH1696 liesH8267, and wearyH3811 themselves to commit iniquityH5753.2
6Thine habitationH3427 is in the midstH8432 of deceitH4820; through deceitH4820 they refuseH3985 to knowH3045 me, saithH5002 YhwhH3068.
7Therefore thus saithH559 YhwhH3068 of ArmiesH6635, Behold, I will meltH6884 them, and tryH974 them; for how shall I doH6213 forH6440 the daughterH1323 of my peopleH5971?
8Their tongueH3956 is as an arrowH2671 shot outH7819; it speakethH1696 deceitH4820: one speakethH1696 peaceablyH7965 to his neighbourH7453 with his mouthH6310, but in heartH7130 he layethH7760 his waitH696.34
