Jeremiah 44:24-30

24Moreover JeremiahH3414 saidH559 unto all the peopleH5971, and to all the womenH802, HearH8085 the wordH1697 of YhwhH3068, all JudahH3063 that are in the landH776 of EgyptH4714: 25Thus saithH559 YhwhH3068 of ArmiesH6635, the GodH430 of IsraelH3478, sayingH559; Ye and your wivesH802 have both spokenH1696 with your mouthsH6310, and fulfilledH4390 with your handH3027, sayingH559, We will surelyH6213 performH6213 our vowsH5088 that we have vowedH5087, to burn incenseH6999 to the queenH4446 of heavenH8064, and to pour outH5258 drink offeringsH5262 unto her: ye will surelyH6965 accomplishH6965 your vowsH5088, and surelyH6213 performH6213 your vowsH5088. 26Therefore hearH8085 ye the wordH1697 of YhwhH3068, all JudahH3063 that dwellH3427 in the landH776 of EgyptH4714; Behold, I have swornH7650 by my greatH1419 nameH8034, saithH559 YhwhH3068, that my nameH8034 shall no more be namedH7121 in the mouthH6310 of any manH376 of JudahH3063 in all the landH776 of EgyptH4714, sayingH559, The LordH136 YhwhH3069 livethH2416. 27Behold, I will watchH8245 over them for evilH7451, and not for goodH2896: and all the menH376 of JudahH3063 that are in the landH776 of EgyptH4714 shall be consumedH8552 by the swordH2719 and by the famineH7458, until there be an endH3615 of them. 28Yet a smallH4962 numberH4557 that escapeH6412 the swordH2719 shall return outH7725 of the landH776 of EgyptH4714 into the landH776 of JudahH3063, and all the remnantH7611 of JudahH3063, that are goneH935 into the landH776 of EgyptH4714 to sojournH1481 there, shall knowH3045 whose wordsH1697 shall standH6965, mine, or theirs.1

29And this shall be a signH226 unto you, saithH5002 YhwhH3068, that I will punishH6485 you in this placeH4725, that ye may knowH3045 that my wordsH1697 shall surelyH6965 standH6965 against you for evilH7451: 30Thus saithH559 YhwhH3068; Behold, I will giveH5414 Pharaoh–hophraH6548 kingH4428 of EgyptH4714 into the handH3027 of his enemiesH341, and into the handH3027 of them that seekH1245 his lifeH5315; as I gaveH5414 ZedekiahH6667 kingH4428 of JudahH3063 into the handH3027 of NebuchadnezzarH5019 kingH4428 of BabylonH894, his enemyH341, and that soughtH1245 his lifeH5315.
