Jeremiah 35:2-10

GoH1980 unto the houseH1004 of the RechabitesH7397, and speakH1696 unto them, and bringH935 them into the houseH1004 of YhwhH3068, into oneH259 of the chambersH3957, and give them wineH3196 to drinkH8248.

Then I tookH3947 JaazaniahH2970 the sonH1121 of JeremiahH3414, the sonH1121 of HabaziniahH2262, and his brethrenH251, and all his sonsH1121, and the whole houseH1004 of the RechabitesH7397;

And I broughtH935 them into the houseH1004 of YhwhH3068, into the chamberH3957 of the sonsH1121 of HananH2605, the sonH1121 of IgdaliahH3012, a manH376 of GodH430, which was byH681 the chamberH3957 of the princesH8269, which was aboveH4605 the chamberH3957 of MaaseiahH4641 the sonH1121 of ShallumH7967, the keeperH8104 of the doorH5592:1

And I setH5414 beforeH6440 the sonsH1121 of the houseH1004 of the RechabitesH7397 potsH1375 fullH4392 of wineH3196, and cupsH3563, and I saidH559 unto them, DrinkH8354 ye wineH3196.

But they saidH559, We will drinkH8354 no wineH3196: for JonadabH3122 the sonH1121 of RechabH7394 our fatherH1 commandedH6680 us, sayingH559, Ye shall drinkH8354 no wineH3196, neither ye, nor your sonsH1121 forH5704 everH5769:

Neither shall ye buildH1129 houseH1004, nor sowH2232 seedH2233, nor plantH5193 vineyardH3754, nor have any: but all your daysH3117 ye shall dwellH3427 in tentsH168; that ye may liveH2421 manyH7227 daysH3117 inH6440 the landH127 where ye be strangersH1481.

Thus have we obeyedH8085 the voiceH6963 of JonadabH3082 the sonH1121 of RechabH7394 our fatherH1 in all that he hath chargedH6680 us, to drinkH8354 no wineH3196 all our daysH3117, we, our wivesH802, our sonsH1121, nor our daughtersH1323;

Nor to buildH1129 housesH1004 for us to dwell inH3427: neither have we vineyardH3754, nor fieldH7704, nor seedH2233:

But we have dwelt inH3427 tentsH168, and have obeyedH8085, and doneH6213 according to all that JonadabH3122 our fatherH1 commandedH6680 us.
