1 Samuel 16:4-11

4And SamuelH8050 didH6213 that which YhwhH3068 spakeH1696, and cameH935 to Beth–lehemH1035. And the eldersH2205 of the townH5892 trembledH2729 at his comingH7125, and saidH559, ComestH935 thou peaceablyH7965?1 5And he saidH559, PeaceablyH7965: I am comeH935 to sacrificeH2076 unto YhwhH3068: sanctifyH6942 yourselves, and comeH935 with me to the sacrificeH2077. And he sanctifiedH6942 JesseH3448 and his sonsH1121, and calledH7121 them to the sacrificeH2077.

6And it came to pass, when they were comeH935, that he lookedH7200 on EliabH446, and saidH559, Surely Yhwh'sH3068 anointedH4899 is before him.2 7But YhwhH3068 saidH559 unto SamuelH8050, LookH5027 not on his countenanceH4758, or on the heightH1364 of his statureH6967; because I have refusedH3988 him: for the Lord seeth not as manH120 seethH7200; for manH120 lookethH7200 on the outward appearanceH5869, But YhwhH3068 lookethH7200 on the heartH3824.3 8Then JesseH3448 calledH7121 AbinadabH41, and made him passH5674 beforeH6440 SamuelH8050. And he saidH559, Neither hath YhwhH3068 chosenH977 this. 9Then JesseH3448 made ShammahH8048 to pass byH5674. And he saidH559, Neither hath YhwhH3068 chosenH977 this.4 10Again, JesseH3448 made sevenH7651 of his sonsH1121 to passH5674 beforeH6440 SamuelH8050. And SamuelH8050 saidH559 unto JesseH3448, YhwhH3068 hath not chosenH977 these. 11And SamuelH8050 saidH559 unto JesseH3448, Are here allH8552 thy childrenH5288? And he saidH559, There remainethH7604 yet the youngestH6996, and, behold, he keepethH7462 the sheepH6629. And SamuelH8050 saidH559 unto JesseH3448, SendH7971 and fetchH3947 him: for we will not sit downH5437 till he comeH935 hitherH6311.5
