Context of Proverbs 24:23
21Fear the Lord and the king, my son, and do not join with rebellious officials, 22for those two will send sudden destruction on them, and who knows what calamities they can bring? These also are sayings of the wise: To show partiality in judging is not good: 24Whoever says to the guilty, “You are innocent,” will be cursed by peoples and denounced by nations. 25But it will go well with those who convict the guilty, and rich blessing will come on them.

- Barnes’ Notes on the Bible · v. 23Belong to the wise - Either “are fitting for the wise, addressed to them,” or (as in the superscriptions of many of the Psalms) “are written by the wise.” Most recent commentators take it in the latter sense, and look on it as indicating the beginning of a fresh section, containing proverbs not ascribed to Solomon‘s authorship.
