Context of Ezekiel 27:30
28The shorelands will quake when your sailors cry out. 29All who handle the oars will abandon their ships; the mariners and all the sailors will stand on the shore. They will raise their voice and cry bitterly over you; they will sprinkle dust on their heads and roll in ashes. 31They will shave their heads because of you and will put on sackcloth. They will weep over you with anguish of soul and with bitter mourning. 32As they wail and mourn over you, they will take up a lament concerning you: “Who was ever silenced like Tyre, surrounded by the sea?”

- Adam Clarke Bible Commentary · v. 30Shall cry bitterly - All that were on the land, seeing this dreadful sight, a gallant ship perishing with all her men and goods, are represented as setting up a dismal cry at this heart-rending sight. But what must they have felt who were on board? Reader, wert thou ever shipwrecked? Wert thou ever in a hurricane on a lee rocky shore, where the helm had lost its power, and the sails were rendered useless? Dost thou remember that apparently last moment…Read the comment

Both describe Tyre as a gateway and a center of trade (see Ezekiel 26:1–2).
