Context of Exodus 12:50
48“When a foreigner lives with you and wants to observe the Passover to the Lord, all his males must be circumcised, and then he may approach and observe it, and he will be like one who is born in the land – but no uncircumcised person may eat of it. 49The same law will apply to the person who is native-born and to the foreigner who lives among you.” So all the Israelites did exactly as the Lord commanded Moses and Aaron. 51And on this very day the Lord brought the Israelites out of the land of Egypt by their regiments.

- Matthew Henry Concise Commentary · v. 43-51Verses 43-51 In times to come, all the congregation of Israel must keep the passover. All that share in God's mercies should join in thankful praises for them. The New Testament passover, the Lord's supper, ought not to be neglected by any. Strangers, if circumcised, might eat of the passover. Here is an early indication of favour to the gentiles. This taught the Jews that their being a nation favoured by God, entitled them to their privileges, not their…Read the comment
- Tyndale Open Study Notes · v. 43-50These extra instructions for celebrating Passover mainly refer to outsiders and foreigners (12:43; 12:48). The main point was whether the person was willing to fully join Israel and obey the Lord by being circumcised.Read the comment

Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread, &c.--This was to commemorate another circumstance in the departure of the Israelites, who were urged to leave so hurriedly that their dough was unleavened (Ex 12:39), and they had to eat unleavened cakes (De 16:3). The greatest care was always taken by the Jews to free their houses from leaven--the owner searching every corner of his dwelling with a lighted candle. A figurative allusion to this is made (1Co…Read the comment
