Context of Job 9:32
30I might wash myself with pure water. I might clean my hands with soap. 31But then God would throw me down into a dirty hole. Even my own clothes would be ashamed of me! God is not a human, as I am. So I cannot answer him. We cannot argue with each other in court. 33There is nobody who can decide which of us is right. Nobody has authority to judge both of us. 34Nobody can stop God from punishing me. If that were possible, I would not be afraid any more.

- Barnes’ Notes on the Bible · v. 32For he is not a man as I am - He is infinitely superior to me in majesty and power. The idea is, that the contest would be unequal, and that he might as well surrender without bringing the matter to an issue. It is evident that the disposition of Job to yield, was rather because he saw that God was superior in power than because he saw that he was right, and that he felt that if he had ability to manage the cause as well as God could, the matter would not…Read the comment
