Context of Mark 12:6
4And again he sent to them another bondman; and [at] him they [threw stones, and] struck [him] on the head, and sent [him] away with insult. 5And [again] he sent another, and him they killed; and many others, beating some and killing some. Having yet therefore one beloved son, he sent also him to them the last, saying, They will have respect for my son. 7But those husbandmen said to one another, This is the heir: come, let us kill him and the inheritance will be ours. 8And they took him and killed him, and cast him forth out of the vineyard.
