5to whom [be] glory to the ages of ages. Amen.

Context of Galatians 1:5
3Grace to you, and peace, from God [the] Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, 4who gave himself for our sins, so that he should deliver us out of the present evil world, according to the will of our God and Father; to whom [be] glory to the ages of ages. Amen. 6I wonder that ye thus quickly change, from him that called you in Christ's grace, to a different gospel, 7which is not another [one]; but there are some that trouble you, and desire to pervert the glad tidings of the Christ.

Commentaries on Galatians 1:5
- Adam Clarke Bible Commentary · v. 5To whom be glory for ever - Let him have the glory to whom alone it is due, for having delivered us from the present evil world, and from all bondage to Mosaic rites and ceremonies.Read the comment
- Barnes’ Notes on the Bible · v. 5To whom be glory - Let Him have all the praise and honor of the plan and its execution. It is not uncommon for Paul to introduce an ascription of praise in the midst of an argument: see the note at Romans 1:25. It results from the strong desire which he had, that all the glory should be given to God, and showed that he believed that all blessings had their origin in God, and that God should be always acknowledged.Read the comment
