Context of 1 John 5:4
2Hereby know we that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep his commandments. 3For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments; and his commandments are not grievous. For all that has been begotten of God gets the victory over the world; and this is the victory which has gotten the victory over the world, our faith. 5Who is he that gets the victory over the world, but he that believes that Jesus is the Son of God? 6This is he that came by water and blood, Jesus [the] Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that bears witness, for the Spirit is the truth.
