Context of Psalms 99:7
5Exalt Adonai our God and worship at His footstool: holy is He. 6Moses and Aaron were among His kohanim—also Samuel among those calling on His Name. They called on Adonai and He answered them. He spoke to them from the pillar of cloud. They kept His testimonies, and the decree that He gave them. 8Adonai our God, You answered them. A forgiving God You were to them, though You avenged their misdeeds. 9Exalt Adonai our God, and worship at His holy hill, for holy is Adonai our God.
