Context of Ezekiel 16:26
24“Then you built a mound for yourself. You made a high place for yourself in every square. 25You built your lofty place at the head of every street. You made your beauty an abomination. You spread your legs for everyone passing by and multiplied your harlotry. You committed immorality with the Egyptians, your lustful neighbors. You multiplied your prostitution, to provoke Me. 27“So behold, I stretched out My hand over you. I diminished your ration. I gave you over to those who hate you, the daughters of the Philistines, who were ashamed of your indecent conduct. 28Then you also played the harlot with the Assyrians, never being satisfied; you played the harlot with them, and still you were not satisfied.
