Deuteronomy 34:1
1And Moses went up from the plains of Moab unto mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is over against Jericho. And the LORD shewed him all the land of Gilead, unto Dan;

- Tyndale Open Study Notes · v. 1Mount Nebo is a high point in the Abarim hills east of the Jordan River. From here, you can see almost all the land west of the Jordan River (32:49). Nebo was part of Pisgah peak (see study note on 3:17). Gilead as far as Dan: This was the northernmost part of the land. The Sea of Galilee and Mount Hermon are directly north of Nebo. Gilead is east of the sea, and Dan (also called Laish; Judges 18:29) was south and west of Hermon.Read the comment
