Numbers 32:16-32

16And they came nearH5066 unto him, and saidH559, We will buildH1129 sheepfoldsH6629H1448 here for our cattleH4735, and citiesH5892 for our little onesH2945: 17But we ourselvesH587 will go readyH2363 armedH2502 beforeH6440 the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, until we have broughtH935 them unto their placeH4725: and our little onesH2945 shall dwellH3427 in the fencedH4013 citiesH5892 becauseH6440 of the inhabitantsH3427 of the landH776. 18We will not returnH7725 unto our housesH1004, until the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 have inheritedH5157 every manH376 his inheritanceH5159. 19For we will not inheritH5157 with them on yonder sideH5676 JordanH3383, or forwardH1973; because our inheritanceH5159 is fallenH935 to us on this sideH5676 JordanH3383 eastwardH4217.

20And MosesH4872 saidH559 unto them, If ye will doH6213 this thingH1697, if ye will go armedH2502 beforeH6440 YhwhH3068 to warH4421, 21And will goH5674 all of you armedH2502 overH5674 JordanH3383 beforeH6440 YhwhH3068, until he hath driven outH3423 his enemiesH341 from beforeH6440 him, 22And the landH776 be subduedH3533 beforeH6440 YhwhH3068: then afterwardH310 ye shall returnH7725, and be guiltlessH5355 before YhwhH3068, and before IsraelH3478; and this landH776 shall be your possessionH272 beforeH6440 YhwhH3068. 23But if ye will not do soH6213, behold, ye have sinnedH2398 against YhwhH3068: and be sureH3045 your sinH2403 will find you outH4672. 24BuildH1129 you citiesH5892 for your little onesH2945, and foldsH1448 for your sheepH6792; and doH6213 that which hath proceededH3318 out of your mouthH6310. 25And the childrenH1121 of GadH1410 and the childrenH1121 of ReubenH7205 spakeH559 unto MosesH4872, sayingH559, Thy servantsH5650 will doH6213 as my lordH113 commandethH6680. 26Our little onesH2945, our wivesH802, our flocksH4735, and all our cattleH929, shall be there in the citiesH5892 of GileadH1568: 27But thy servantsH5650 will pass overH5674, every man armedH2502 for warH6635, beforeH6440 YhwhH3068 to battleH4421, as my lordH113 saithH1696. 28So concerning them MosesH4872 commandedH6680 EleazarH499 the priestH3548, and JoshuaH3091 the sonH1121 of NunH5126, and the chiefH7218 fathersH1 of the tribesH4294 of the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478: 29And MosesH4872 saidH559 unto them, If the childrenH1121 of GadH1410 and the childrenH1121 of ReubenH7205 will pass with you overH5674 JordanH3383, every man armedH2502 to battleH4421, beforeH6440 YhwhH3068, and the landH776 shall be subduedH3533 beforeH6440 you; then ye shall giveH5414 them the landH776 of GileadH1568 for a possessionH272: 30But if they will not pass overH5674 with you armedH2502, they shall have possessionsH270 amongH8432 you in the landH776 of CanaanH3667. 31And the childrenH1121 of GadH1410 and the childrenH1121 of ReubenH7205 answeredH6030, sayingH559, as YhwhH3068 hath saidH1696 unto thy servantsH5650, so will we doH6213. 32We willH5168 pass overH5674 armedH2502 beforeH6440 YhwhH3068 into the landH776 of CanaanH3667, that the possessionH272 of our inheritanceH5159 on this sideH5676 JordanH3383 may be ours.
