27And of KohathH6955 was the familyH4940 of the AmramitesH6020, and the familyH4940 of the IzeharitesH3325, and the familyH4940 of the HebronitesH2276, and the familyH4940 of the UzzielitesH5817: these are the familiesH4940 of the KohathitesH6956. 28In the numberH4557 of all the malesH2145, from a monthH2320 oldH1121 and upwardH4605, were eightH8083 thousandH505 and sixH8337 hundredH3967, keepingH8104 the chargeH4931 of the sanctuaryH6944. 29The familiesH4940 of the sonsH1121 of KohathH6955 shall pitchH2583 on the sideH3409 of the tabernacleH4908 southwardH8486. 30And the chiefH5387 of the houseH1004 of the fatherH1 of the familiesH4940 of the KohathitesH6956 shall be ElizaphanH469 the sonH1121 of UzzielH5816. 31And their chargeH4931 shall be the arkH727, and the tableH7979, and the lampstandH4501, and the altarsH4196, and the vesselsH3627 of the sanctuaryH6944 wherewith they ministerH8334, and the hangingH4539, and all the serviceH5656 thereof. 32And EleazarH499 the sonH1121 of AaronH175 the priestH3548 shall be chiefH5387 over the chiefH5387 of the LevitesH3881, and have the oversightH6486 of them that keepH8104 the chargeH4931 of the sanctuaryH6944.

33Of MerariH4847 was the familyH4940 of the MahlitesH4250, and the familyH4940 of the MushitesH4188: these are the familiesH4940 of MerariH4847. 34And those that were numberedH6485 of them, according to the numberH4557 of all the malesH2145, from a monthH2320 oldH1121 and upwardH4605, were sixH8337 thousandH505 and two hundredH3967. 35And the chiefH5387 of the houseH1004 of the fatherH1 of the familiesH4940 of MerariH4847 was ZurielH6700 the sonH1121 of AbihailH32: these shall pitchH2583 on the sideH3409 of the tabernacleH4908 northwardH6828. 36And under the custodyH6486 and chargeH4931 of the sonsH1121 of MerariH4847 shall be the boardsH7175 of the tabernacleH4908, and the barsH1280 thereof, and the pillarsH5982 thereof, and the socketsH134 thereof, and all the vesselsH3627 thereof, and all that servethH5656 thereto,2 37And the pillarsH5982 of the courtH2691 round aboutH5439, and their socketsH134, and their pinsH3489, and their cordsH4340.

38But those that encampH2583 beforeH6440 the tabernacleH4908 toward the eastH6924, even beforeH6440 the tabernacleH168 of the congregationH4150 eastwardH4217, shall be MosesH4872, and AaronH175 and his sonsH1121, keepingH8104 the chargeH4931 of the sanctuaryH4720 for the chargeH4931 of the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478; and the strangerH2114 that cometh nighH7131 shall be put to deathH4191.
