Numbers 16:17-40

17And takeH3947 every manH376 his censerH4289, and putH5414 incenseH7004 in them, and bringH7126 ye beforeH6440 YhwhH3068 every manH376 his censerH4289, two hundredH3967 and fiftyH2572 censersH4289; thou also, and AaronH175, eachH376 of you his censerH4289. 18And they tookH3947 every manH376 his censerH4289, and putH5414 fireH784 in them, and laidH7760 incenseH7004 thereon, and stoodH5975 in the doorH6607 of the tabernacleH168 of the congregationH4150 with MosesH4872 and AaronH175. 19And KorahH7141 gatheredH6950 all the congregationH5712 against them unto the doorH6607 of the tabernacleH168 of the congregationH4150: and the gloryH3519 of YhwhH3068 appearedH7200 unto all the congregationH5712. 20And YhwhH3068 spakeH1696 unto MosesH4872 and unto AaronH175, sayingH559, 21SeparateH914 yourselves from amongH8432 this congregationH5712, that I may consumeH3615 them in a momentH7281. 22And they fellH5307 upon their facesH6440, and saidH559, O GodH410, the GodH430 of the spiritsH7307 of all fleshH1320, shall oneH259 manH376 sinH2398, and wilt thou be wrothH7107 with all the congregationH5712?

23And YhwhH3068 spakeH1696 unto MosesH4872, sayingH559, 24SpeakH1696 unto the congregationH5712, sayingH559, Get you upH5927 from aboutH5439 the tabernacleH4908 of KorahH7141, DathanH1885, and AbiramH48. 25And MosesH4872 rose upH6965 and wentH3212 unto DathanH1885 and AbiramH48; and the eldersH2205 of IsraelH3478 followedH3212 himH310. 26And he spakeH1696 unto the congregationH5712, sayingH559, DepartH5493, I pray you, from the tentsH168 of these wickedH7563 menH582, and touchH5060 nothing of theirs, lest ye be consumedH5595 in all their sinsH2403. 27So they gat upH5927 from the tabernacleH4908 of KorahH7141, DathanH1885, and AbiramH48, on every sideH5439: and DathanH1885 and AbiramH48 came outH3318, and stoodH5324 in the doorH6607 of their tentsH168, and their wivesH802, and their sonsH1121, and their little childrenH2945. 28And MosesH4872 saidH559, Hereby ye shall knowH3045 that YhwhH3068 hath sentH7971 me to doH6213 all these worksH4639; for I have not done them of mine own mindH3820. 29If these men dieH4191 the common deathH4194 of all menH120, or if they be visitedH6485 after the visitationH6486 of all menH120; then YhwhH3068 hath not sentH7971 me.1 30But if YhwhH3068 makeH1254 a new thingH1278, and the earthH127 openH6475 her mouthH6310, and swallow them upH1104, with all that appertain unto them, and they go downH3381 quickH2416 into the pitH7585; then ye shall understandH3045 that these menH582 have provokedH5006 YhwhH3068.2

31And it came to pass, as he had made an endH3615 of speakingH1696 all these wordsH1697, that the groundH127 clave asunderH1234 that was under them: 32And the earthH776 openedH6605 her mouthH6310, and swallowed them upH1104, and their householdsH1004, and all the menH120 that appertained unto KorahH7141, and all their goodsH7399. 33They, and all that appertained to them, went downH3381 aliveH2416 into the pitH7585, and the earthH776 closedH3680 upon them: and they perishedH6 from amongH8432 the congregationH6951. 34And all IsraelH3478 that were round aboutH5439 them fledH5127 at the cryH6963 of them: for they saidH559, Lest the earthH776 swallow us upH1104 also. 35And there came outH3318 a fireH784 from YhwhH3068, and consumedH398 the two hundredH3967 and fiftyH2572 menH376 that offeredH7126 incenseH7004.

36And YhwhH3068 spakeH1696 unto MosesH4872, sayingH559, 37SpeakH559 unto EleazarH499 the sonH1121 of AaronH175 the priestH3548, that he take upH7311 the censersH4289 outH996 of the burningH8316, and scatterH2219 thou the fireH784 yonderH1973; for they are hallowedH6942. 38The censersH4289 of these sinnersH2400 against their own soulsH5315, let them makeH6213 them broadH7555 platesH6341 for a coveringH6826 of the altarH4196: for they offeredH7126 them beforeH6440 YhwhH3068, therefore they are hallowedH6942: and they shall be a signH226 unto the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478. 39And EleazarH499 the priestH3548 tookH3947 the brasenH5178 censersH4289, wherewith they that were burntH8313 had offeredH7126; and they were made broadH7554 plates for a coveringH6826 of the altarH4196: 40To be a memorialH2146 unto the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, thatH4616H834 no strangerH2114H376, which is not of the seedH2233 of AaronH175, come nearH7126 to offerH6999 incenseH7004 beforeH6440 YhwhH3068; that he be not as KorahH7141, and as his companyH5712: as YhwhH3068 saidH1696 to him by the handH3027 of MosesH4872.
