Judges 10:7-18

7And the angerH639 of YhwhH3068 was hotH2734 against IsraelH3478, and he soldH4376 them into the handsH3027 of the PhilistinesH6430, and into the handsH3027 of the childrenH1121 of AmmonH5983. 8And that yearH8141 they vexedH7492 and oppressedH7533 the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478: eighteenH6240H8083 yearsH8141, all the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 that were on the other sideH5676 JordanH3383 in the landH776 of the AmoritesH567, which is in GileadH1568.1 9Moreover the childrenH1121 of AmmonH5983 passed overH5674 JordanH3383 to fightH3898 also against JudahH3063, and against BenjaminH1144, and against the houseH1004 of EphraimH669; so that IsraelH3478 was soreH3966 distressedH3334.

10And the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 criedH2199 unto YhwhH3068, sayingH559, We have sinnedH2398 against thee, both because we have forsakenH5800 our GodH430, and also servedH5647 BaalimH1168. 11And YhwhH3068 saidH559 unto the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, Did not I deliver you from the EgyptiansH4714, and from the AmoritesH567, from the childrenH1121 of AmmonH5983, and from the PhilistinesH6430? 12The SidoniansH6722 also, and the AmalekitesH6002, and the MaonitesH4584, did oppressH3905 you; and ye criedH6817 to me, and I deliveredH3467 you out of their handH3027. 13Yet ye have forsakenH5800 me, and servedH5647 otherH312 godsH430: wherefore I will deliverH3467 you no moreH3254. 14GoH3212 and cryH2199 unto the godsH430 which ye have chosenH977; let themH1992 deliverH3467 you in the timeH6256 of your tribulationH6869.

15And the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 saidH559 unto YhwhH3068, We have sinnedH2398: doH6213 thou unto us whatsoever seemethH5869 goodH2896 unto thee; deliverH5337 us only, we pray thee, this dayH3117.2 16And they put awayH5493 the strangeH5236 godsH430 from amongH7130 them, and servedH5647 YhwhH3068: and his soulH5315 was grievedH7114 for the miseryH5999 of IsraelH3478.34 17Then the childrenH1121 of AmmonH5983 were gathered togetherH6817, and encampedH2583 in GileadH1568. And the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 assembled themselves togetherH622, and encampedH2583 in MizpehH4709.5 18And the peopleH5971 and princesH8269 of GileadH1568 saidH559 oneH376 to anotherH7453, What manH376 is he that will beginH2490 to fightH3898 against the childrenH1121 of AmmonH5983? he shall be headH7218 over all the inhabitantsH3427 of GileadH1568.
