Revised Literal Translation
Jeremiah 5:1-4
1Run ye to and froH7751 through the streetsH2351 of JerusalemH3389, and seeH7200 now, and knowH3045, and seekH1245 in the broad placesH7339 thereof, if ye can findH4672 a manH376, if there beH3426 any that executethH6213 judgmentH4941, that seekethH1245 the truthH530; and I will pardonH5545 it.
2And though they sayH559, YhwhH3068 livethH2416; surely they swearH7650 falselyH8267.
3O YhwhH3068, are not thine eyesH5869 upon the truthH530? thou hast strickenH5221 them, but they have not grievedH2342; thou hast consumedH3615 them, but they have refusedH3985 to receiveH3947 correctionH4148: they have made their facesH6440 harderH2388 than a rockH5553; they have refusedH3985 to returnH7725.
4Therefore I saidH559, Surely these are poorH1800; they are foolishH2973: for they knowH3045 not the wayH1870 of YhwhH3068, nor the judgmentH4941 of their GodH430.
