14When thou art comeH935 unto the landH776 which YhwhH3068 thy GodH430 givethH5414 thee, and shalt possessH3423 it, and shalt dwellH3427 therein, and shalt sayH559, I will setH7760 a kingH4428 over me, like as all the nationsH1471 that are aboutH5439 me; 15Thou shalt in any wiseH7760 setH7760 him kingH4428 over thee, whom YhwhH3068 thy GodH430 shall chooseH977: one from amongH7130 thy brethrenH251 shalt thou setH7760 kingH4428 over thee: thou mayestH3201 not setH5414 a strangerH376H5237 over thee, which is not thy brotherH251. 16But he shall not multiplyH7235 horsesH5483 to himself, nor cause the peopleH5971 to returnH7725 to EgyptH4714, to the end that he should multiplyH7235 horsesH5483: forasmuch as YhwhH3068 hath saidH559 unto you, Ye shall henceforthH3254 returnH7725 no more that wayH1870. 17Neither shall he multiplyH7235 wivesH802 to himself, that his heartH3824 turnH5493 not away: neither shall he greatlyH3966 multiplyH7235 to himself silverH3701 and goldH2091. 18And it shall be, when he sittethH3427 upon the throneH3678 of his kingdomH4467, that he shall writeH3789 him a copyH4932 of this lawH8451 in a bookH5612 out of that which is beforeH6440 the priestsH3548 the LevitesH3881:
