Amos 7:7-13

7Thus he shewedH7200 me: and, behold, the LordH136 stoodH5324 upon a wallH2346 made by a plumblineH594, with a plumblineH594 in his handH3027. 8And YhwhH3068 saidH559 unto me, AmosH5986, what seestH7200 thou? And I saidH559, A plumblineH594. Then saidH559 the LordH136, Behold, I will setH7760 a plumblineH594 in the midstH7130 of my peopleH5971 IsraelH3478: I will not againH3254 pass byH5674 them any more: 9And the high placesH1116 of IsaacH3446 shall be desolateH8074, and the sanctuariesH4720 of IsraelH3478 shall be laid wasteH2717; and I will riseH6965 against the houseH1004 of JeroboamH3379 with the swordH2719.

10Then AmaziahH558 the priestH3548 of Beth–elH1008 sentH7971 to JeroboamH3379 kingH4428 of IsraelH3478, sayingH559, AmosH5986 hath conspiredH7194 against thee in the midstH7130 of the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478: the landH776 is not ableH3201 to bearH3557 all his wordsH1697. 11For thus AmosH5986 saithH559, JeroboamH3379 shall dieH4191 by the swordH2719, and IsraelH3478 shall surelyH1540 be led away captiveH1540 out of their own landH127. 12Also AmaziahH558 saidH559 unto AmosH5986, O thou seerH2374, goH3212, flee thee awayH1272 into the landH776 of JudahH3063, and there eatH398 breadH3899, and prophesyH5012 there: 13But prophesyH5012 not againH3254 any more at Beth–elH1008: for it is the king’sH4428 chapelH4720, and it is the king’sH4467 courtH1004.12
