18Nevertheless a ladH5288 sawH7200 them, and toldH5046 AbsalomH53: but they wentH3212 bothH8147 of them away quicklyH4120, and cameH935 to a man’sH376 houseH1004 in BahurimH980, which had a wellH875 in his courtH2691; whitherH8033 they went downH3381.

19And the womanH802 tookH3947 and spreadH6566 a coveringH4539 over the well’sH875 mouthH6440, and spreadH7849 ground wheatH7383 thereon; and the thingH1697 was not knownH3045.

20And when Absalom’sH53 servantsH5650 cameH935 to the womanH802 to the houseH1004, they saidH559, Where is AhimaazH290 and JonathanH3083? And the womanH802 saidH559 unto them, They be gone overH5674 the brookH4323 of waterH4325. And when they had soughtH1245 and could not findH4672 them, they returnedH7725 to JerusalemH3389.

21And it came to pass, afterH310 they were departedH3212, that they came upH5927 out of the wellH875, and wentH3212 and toldH5046 kingH4428 DavidH1732, and saidH559 unto DavidH1732, AriseH6965, and pass quicklyH4120 overH5674 the waterH4325: for thus hath AhithophelH302 counselledH3289 against you.

22Then DavidH1732 aroseH6965, and all the peopleH5971 that were with him, and they passed overH5674 JordanH3383: by the morningH1242 lightH216 there lackedH5737 not oneH259 of them that was not gone overH5674 JordanH3383.
