2 Kings 20:1-11

1In those daysH3117 was HezekiahH2396 sickH2470 unto deathH4191. And the prophetH5030 IsaiahH3470 the sonH1121 of AmozH531 cameH935 to him, and saidH559 unto him, Thus saithH559 YhwhH3068, Set thine houseH1004 in orderH6680; for thou shalt dieH4191, and not liveH2421.1 2Then he turnedH5437 his faceH6440 to the wallH7023, and prayedH6419 unto YhwhH3068, sayingH559, 3I beseechH577 thee, O YhwhH3068, rememberH2142 now how I have walkedH1980 beforeH6440 thee in truthH571 and with a perfectH8003 heartH3824, and have doneH6213 that which is goodH2896 in thy sightH5869. And HezekiahH2396 weptH1065H1058 soreH1419.2 4And it came to pass, afore IsaiahH3470 was gone outH3318 into the middleH8484 courtH5892H2691, that the wordH1697 of YhwhH3068 came to him, sayingH559,3 5Turn againH7725, and tellH559 HezekiahH2396 the captainH5057 of my peopleH5971, Thus saithH559 YhwhH3068, the GodH430 of DavidH1732 thy fatherH1, I have heardH8085 thy prayerH8605, I have seenH7200 thy tearsH1832: behold, I will healH7495 thee: on the thirdH7992 dayH3117 thou shalt go upH5927 unto the houseH1004 of YhwhH3068. 6And I will addH3254 unto thy daysH3117 fifteenH6240H2568 yearsH8141; and I will deliverH5337 thee and this cityH5892 out of the handH3709 of the kingH4428 of AssyriaH804; and I will defendH1598 this cityH5892 for mine own sake, and for my servantH5650 David’sH1732 sake. 7And IsaiahH3470 saidH559, TakeH3947 a lumpH1690 of figsH8384. And they tookH3947 and laidH7760 it on the boilH7822, and he recoveredH2421.

8And HezekiahH2396 saidH559 unto IsaiahH3470, What shall be the signH226 that YhwhH3068 will healH7495 me, and that I shall go upH5927 into the houseH1004 of YhwhH3068 the thirdH7992 dayH3117? 9And IsaiahH3470 saidH559, This signH226 shalt thou have of YhwhH3068, that YhwhH3068 will doH6213 the thingH1697 that he hath spokenH1696: shall the shadowH6738 go forwardH1980 tenH6235 degreesH4609, or go backH7725 tenH6235 degreesH4609? 10And HezekiahH3169 answeredH559, It is a light thingH7043 for the shadowH6738 to go downH5186 tenH6235 degreesH4609: nay, but let the shadowH6738 returnH7725 backwardH322 tenH6235 degreesH4609. 11And IsaiahH3470 the prophetH5030 criedH7121 unto YhwhH3068: and he broughtH7725 the shadowH6738 tenH6235 degreesH4609 backwardH322, byH4609 which it had gone downH3381 in the dialH4609 of AhazH271.4
