Samuel 24:17-21
And he saidH559 to DavidH1732, Thou art more righteousH6662 than I: for thou hast rewardedH1580 me goodH2896, whereas I have rewardedH1580 thee evilH7451.
And thou hast shewedH5046 this dayH3117 how that thou hast dealtH6213 wellH2896 with me: forasmuch as when YhwhH3068 had deliveredH5462 me into thine handH3027, thou killedstH2026 me not.1
For if a manH376 findH4672 his enemyH341, will he let him goH7971 wellH2896 awayH1870? wherefore YhwhH3068 rewardH7999 thee goodH2896 for that thou hast doneH6213 unto me this dayH3117.
And now, behold, I know wellH3045 that thou shalt surelyH4427 be kingH4427, and that the kingdomH4467 of IsraelH3478 shall be establishedH6965 in thine handH3027.
SwearH7650 now therefore unto me by YhwhH3068, that thou wilt notH518 cut offH3772 my seedH2233 afterH310 me, and that thou wilt not destroyH8045 my nameH8034 out of my father’sH1 houseH1004.
