Context of Psalms 104:10
8The mountains rose and the valleys sank to the place you appointed for them. 9Water cannot cross the boundary you set and cannot come back to cover the earth. You make water gush from springs into valleys. It flows between the mountains. 11Every wild animal drinks ⌞from them⌟. Wild donkeys quench their thirst. 12The birds live by the streams. They sing among the branches.

There is just as much aqueous surface as affords a sufficiency of vapours to be raised by the solar attraction to water the earthy surface. Experiments have been instituted which…Read the comment
- Barnes’ Notes on the Bible · v. 10He sendeth the springs into the valleys - Though the waters are gathered together into seas, yet God has taken care that the earth shall not be dry, parched, and barren.
