Context of John 11:45
43And having said this, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. 44And the dead came forth, bound feet and hands with graveclothes, and his face was bound round with a handkerchief. Jesus says to them, Loose him and let him go. Many therefore of the Jews who came to Mary and saw what he had done, believed on him; 46but some of them went to the Pharisees and told them what Jesus had done. 47The chief priests, therefore, and the Pharisees gathered a council, and said, What do we? for this man does many signs.
