Context of Job 40:6
4I am so insignificant. How can I answer you? I place my hand over my mouth. 5I have spoken once, and I will not reply; twice, but now I can add nothing. Then the Lord answered Job from the whirlwind: 7Get ready to answer me like a man; When I question you, you will inform me. 8Would you really challenge my justice? Would you declare me guilty to justify yourself?

And those who are truly convinced of sin, yet need to be more thoroughly convinced and more humbled. No doubt God, and he only, has power to humble and bring down proud men; he has wisdom to know when and how to do it, and it is not for us to teach him how to govern the world.
