Context of Psalms 118:24
22The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief corner stone. 23This is from the Lord and is His doing; It is marvelous in our eyes. This [day in which God has saved me] is the day which the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it. 25O Lord, save now, we beseech You; O Lord, we beseech You, send now prosperity and give us success! 26Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord; We have blessed you from the house of the Lord [you who come into His sanctuary under His guardianship].

He was in danger of death; his days were likely to be cut off and ended, so that he should see no more. His humiliation; he is the Stone which the builders refused: they would go on in their building without him. This proved the ruin of those who thus made light of him. Rejecters of Christ are rejected of God. 2. His exaltation; he is the chief Cornerstone in the…Read the comment
