Context of Matthew 12:17
15Being aware of this, Jesus left there. Many followed Him, and He healed all of them [who were sick], 16and warned them not to tell [publicly] who He was. This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah: 18“Behold, My Servant whom I have chosen; My Beloved in whom My soul is well-pleased; I will put My Spirit upon Him, And He will proclaim justice to the nations. 19He will not quarrel, nor cry out loudly; Nor will anyone hear His voice in the streets.
