Context of Psalms 71:22
20You made me see many troubles and evils —You will revive me again— from the depths of the earth You will bring me up again. 21You will increase my greatness, and comfort me once again. So I will praise You with the harp for your truth, O my God. I will sing praises to You with the lyre O Holy One of Israel. 23My lips will shout for joy —when I sing praises to You— and my soul, which You have redeemed. 24Also my tongue will tell of Your righteousness all day. For those who seek my hurt have been put to shame and confusion.

- Adam Clarke Bible Commentary · v. 22I will also praise thee with the psaltery - נבל בכלי bichli nebel, with the instrument nebel. Unto thee will I sing with the harp; בכנור bechinnor, with the kinnor. Both were stringed instruments, and the principal used in the Jewish worship; and with which, or any thing like them, in Divine worship, we, as Christians, have nothing to do.Read the comment

Not on a sabbath only, but on every day of the week, of the year, of his life. Not merely at stated returns of solemn devotion, but on every occasion, all the day long. Why will he always dwell on this? Because he knew not the numbers thereof. It is impossible to measure the value or the fulness of…Read the comment
