Context of Psalms 38:18
16But I wait for You, Adonai— You will answer, O Lord my God. 17For I said: “Don’t let them gloat over me or exalt themselves over me, when my foot slips.” For I am about to fall, and my pain is before me constantly. 19So I confess my guilt. I am troubled because of my sin. 20My lively enemies are numerous. Many hate me wrongfully.

- Matthew Henry Concise Commentary · v. 12-22Verses 12-22 Wicked men hate goodness, even when they benefit by it. David, in the complaints he makes of his enemies, seems to refer to Christ.
