Context of Psalms 17:4
2From Your presence comes my vindication. Your eyes see what is right. 3You have examined my heart. You searched me at night. Though You test me, You find nothing. I resolved that my mouth will not sin. As for the deeds of mankind— by the word of Your lips I have kept out of the ways of the violent. 5My steps have kept on Your paths. My feet have not slipped. 6I called upon You, O God, for You will answer me. Incline Your ear to me, hear my speech.
