Context of Genesis 50:25
23Joseph saw the third generation of Ephraim’s sons. Also the sons of Machir, Manasseh’s son, were born upon Joseph’s knees. 24Then Joseph said to his brothers, “I’m about to die. But God will surely take notice of you and will bring you up from this land to the land that He swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.” Then Joseph made Israel’s sons swear an oath saying, “When God takes notice of you, you will bring my bones up from here.” 26So Joseph died at 110 years old, and they embalmed him and he was placed in a coffin in Egypt.

Thus says the author of the Epistle to the Hebrews, Hebrews 11:22; : "By Faith Joseph, when he died, (, when dying), made mention of the departure (, of the Exodus) of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones. We must comfort others with the same comforts with which we have been comforted of God, and encourage them to rest on the promises which are our support.
