Context of Ezekiel 23:9
7She prostituted herself with them, all of the choice men of Assyria. She defiled herself with all the idols of everyone she lusted after. 8She did not give up her harlotry in Egypt; for in her youth they had lain with her. They fondled her virgin breasts and poured out their lust on her. Therefore I gave her into the hand of her lovers, into the hand of the Assyrians, whom she lusted after. 10They stripped her naked, they took her sons and her daughters and slaughtered her with the sword. She became notorious among women. Judgments were executed upon her. 11“Now her sister Oholibah saw this, yet she was more depraved in her lust than her sister and her promiscuous acts worse.
