Context of Ezekiel 23:7
5“Oholah prostituted herself, though she was Mine. She lusted after her lovers, the Assyrians, warriors, 6dressed in blue, governors and rulers, all of them handsome young men, horsemen riding on horses. She prostituted herself with them, all of the choice men of Assyria. She defiled herself with all the idols of everyone she lusted after. 8She did not give up her harlotry in Egypt; for in her youth they had lain with her. They fondled her virgin breasts and poured out their lust on her. 9Therefore I gave her into the hand of her lovers, into the hand of the Assyrians, whom she lusted after.
