Context of 2 Kings 14:29

27But Adonai did not say He would blot out the name of Israel from under heaven, so He delivered them by the hand of Jeroboam son of Joash. 28Now the rest of the acts of Jeroboam and all that he did, and his might, including how he fought and recovered Damascus and Hamath for Judah in Israel, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel? Then Jeroboam slept with his fathers with the kings of Israel. His son Zechariah became king in his place.
