Psalms 78:32-40
32For all this they sinnedH2398 still, and believedH539 not for his wondrous worksH6381. 33Therefore their daysH3117 did he consumeH3615 in vanityH1892, and their yearsH8141 in troubleH928. 34When he slewH2026 them, then they soughtH1875 him: and they returnedH7725 and enquired earlyH7836 after GodH410. 35And they rememberedH2142 that GodH430 was their rockH6697, and the highH5945 GodH410 their redeemerH1350. 36Nevertheless they would flatterH6601 him with their mouthH6310, and they liedH3576 to him with their tonguesH3956. 37For their heartH3820 was not rightH3559 with him, neither were they steadfastH539 in his covenantH1285. 38But he, being full of compassionH7349, forgaveH3722 their iniquityH5771, and destroyedH7843 them not: yea, many a timeH7235 he turnedH7725 his angerH639 awayH7725, and did not stir upH5782 all his wrathH2534. 39For he rememberedH2142 that they were but fleshH1320; a windH7307 that passeth awayH1980, and cometh not againH7725.
40HowH4100 oft did they provokeH4784 him in the wildernessH4057, and grieveH6087 him in the desertH3452!1
