Joshua 3:7-17
7And the LORDH3068 saidH559 to JoshuaH3091, This dayH3117 will I beginH2490 to magnifyH1431 thee in the sightH5869 of all IsraelH3478, that they may knowH3045 that, as I was with MosesH4872, so I will be with thee. 8And thou shalt commandH6680 the priestsH3548 that bearH5375 the arkH727 of the covenantH1285, sayingH559, When ye have comeH935 to the brinkH7097 of the waterH4325 of JordanH3383, ye shall stand stillH5975 in JordanH3383. 9And JoshuaH3091 saidH559 to the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, Come hereH5066, and hearH8085 the wordsH1697 of the LORDH3068 your GodH430. 10And JoshuaH3091 saidH559, By this ye shall knowH3045 that the livingH2416 GodH410 is amongH7130 you, and that he will without failH3423 drive outH3423 from beforeH6440 you the CanaanitesH3669, and the HittitesH2850, and the HivitesH2340, and the PerizzitesH6522, and the GirgashitesH1622, and the AmoritesH567, and the JebusitesH2983. 11Behold, the arkH727 of the covenantH1285 of the LordH113 of all the earthH776 passeth overH5674 beforeH6440 you into JordanH3383. 12Now therefore takeH3947 for yourselves twelveH8147H6240 menH376 out of the tribesH7626 of IsraelH3478, out of everyH259 tribeH7626 a manH376. 13And it shall come to pass, as soon as the solesH3709 of the feetH7272 of the priestsH3548 that bearH5375 the arkH727 of the LORDH3068, the LordH113 of all the earthH776, shall restH5117 in the watersH4325 of JordanH3383, that the watersH4325 of JordanH3383 shall be cut offH3772 from the watersH4325 that come downH3381 from aboveH4605; and they shall standH5975 in anH259 heapH5067.
14And it came to pass, when the peopleH5971 departedH5265 from their tentsH168, to pass overH5674 JordanH3383, and the priestsH3548 bearingH5375 the arkH727 of the covenantH1285 beforeH6440 the peopleH5971; 15And as they that boreH5375 the arkH727 had comeH935 to JordanH3383, and the feetH7272 of the priestsH3548 that boreH5375 the arkH727 were dippedH2881 in the brimH7097 of the waterH4325, (for JordanH3383 overflowethH4390 all its banksH1415 all the timeH3117 of harvestH7105,) 16That the watersH4325 which came downH3381 from aboveH4605 stoodH5975 and rose upH6965 in anH259 heapH5067 veryH3966 farH7368 from the cityH5892 AdamH121, that is besideH6654 ZaretanH6891: and those that came downH3381 toward the seaH3220 of the plainH6160, even the saltH4417 seaH3220, failedH8552, and were cut offH3772: and the peopleH5971 passed overH5674 opposite JerichoH3405. 17And the priestsH3548 that boreH5375 the arkH727 of the covenantH1285 of the LORDH3068 stoodH5975 firmH3559 on dry groundH2724 in the midstH8432 of JordanH3383, and all the IsraelitesH3478 passed overH5674 on dry groundH2724, until all the peopleH1471 had finishedH8552 crossingH5674 the JordanH3383.
