1 Samuel 3:1-10

1And the childH5288 SamuelH8050 ministeredH8334 to the LORDH3068 beforeH6440 EliH5941. And the wordH1697 of the LORDH3068 was rareH3368 in those daysH3117; there was no frequentH6555 visionH2377. 2And it came to pass at that timeH3117, when EliH5941 was lying downH7901 in his placeH4725, and his eyesH5869 beganH2490 to grow dimH3544, that he couldH3201 not seeH7200; 3And before the lampH5216 of GodH430 went outH3518 in the templeH1964 of the LORDH3068, where the arkH727 of GodH430 was, and SamuelH8050 was lying downH7901 to sleep ; 4That the LORDH3068 calledH7121 SamuelH8050: and he answeredH559, Here am I. 5And he ranH7323 to EliH5941, and saidH559, Here am IH2009; for thou didst callH7121 me. And he saidH559, I calledH7121 not; lie downH7901 againH7725. And he wentH3212 and lay downH7901. 6And the LORDH3068 calledH7121 yet againH3254, SamuelH8050. And SamuelH8050 aroseH6965 and wentH3212 to EliH5941, and saidH559, Here am I; for thou didst callH7121 me. And he answeredH559, I calledH7121 not, my sonH1121; lie downH7901 againH7725. 7Now SamuelH8050 did not yetH2962 knowH3045 the LORDH3068, neither was the wordH1697 of the LORDH3068 yet revealedH1540 to him.1 8And the LORDH3068 calledH7121 SamuelH8050 againH3254 the third timeH7992. And he aroseH6965 and wentH3212 to EliH5941, and saidH559, Here am I; for thou didst callH7121 me. And EliH5941 perceivedH995 that the LORDH3068 had calledH7121 the childH5288. 9Therefore EliH5941 saidH559 to SamuelH8050, GoH3212, lie downH7901: and it shall be, if he should callH7121 thee, that thou shalt sayH559, SpeakH1696, LORDH3068; for thy servantH5650 hearethH8085. So SamuelH8050 wentH3212 and lay downH7901 in his placeH4725. 10And the LORDH3068 cameH935, and stoodH3320, and calledH7121 as at other timesH6471, SamuelH8050, SamuelH8050. Then SamuelH8050 answeredH559, SpeakH1696; for thy servantH5650 hearethH8085.
