Context of Psalms 94:3
1O LORD, thou God to whom vengeance belongeth, thou God to whom vengeance belongeth, shine forth. 2Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render to the proud their desert. LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph? 4They prate, they speak arrogantly: all the workers of iniquity boast themselves. 5They break in pieces thy people, O LORD, and afflict thine heritage.

- Adam Clarke Bible Commentary · v. 3How long shall the wicked triumph? - The wicked are often in prosperity; and this only shows us of how little worth riches are in the sight of God, when he bestows them on the most contemptible of mortals. But their time and prosperity have their bounds.Read the comment
- Barnes’ Notes on the Bible · v. 3Lord, how long shall the wicked - As if there were to be no end to their exaltation; their joy; their success. How long would God allow this? How often does it seem inexplicable that a Being of almighty power and infinite goodness does not interfere with…Read the comment
