Numbers 22:22-27
22And God’sH430 angerH639 was kindledH2734 because he wentH1980: and the angelH4397 of YhwhH3068 stoodH3320 in the wayH1870 for an adversaryH7854 against him. Now he was ridingH7392 upon his donkeyH860, and his twoH8147 servantsH5288 were with him. 23And the donkeyH860 sawH7200 the angelH4397 of YhwhH3068 standingH5324 in the wayH1870, and his swordH2719 drawnH8025 in his handH3027: and the donkeyH860 turned asideH5186 out of the wayH1870, and wentH3212 into the fieldH7704: and BalaamH1109 smoteH5221 the donkeyH860, to turnH5186 her into the wayH1870. 24But the angelH4397 of YhwhH3068 stoodH5975 in a pathH4934 of the vineyardsH3754, a wallH1447 being on this side, and a wallH1447 on that side. 25And when the donkeyH860 sawH7200 the angelH4397 of YhwhH3068, she thrustH3905 herself unto the wallH7023, and crushedH3905 Balaam’sH1109 footH7272 against the wallH7023: and he smoteH5221 her againH3254. 26And the angelH4397 of YhwhH3068 wentH5674 furtherH3254, and stoodH5975 in a narrowH6862 placeH4725, where was no wayH1870 to turnH5186 either to the right handH3225 or to the leftH8040. 27And when the donkeyH860 sawH7200 the angelH4397 of YhwhH3068, she fell downH7257 under BalaamH1109: and Balaam’sH1109 angerH639 was kindledH2734, and he smoteH5221 the donkeyH860 with a staffH4731.
