Joshua 14:6-12
6Then the childrenH1121 of JudahH3063 cameH5066 unto JoshuaH3091 in GilgalH1537: and CalebH3612 the sonH1121 of JephunnehH3312 the KeneziteH7074 saidH559 unto him, Thou knowestH3045 the thingH1697 that YhwhH3068 saidH1696 unto MosesH4872 the manH376 of GodH430 concerning meH182 and theeH182 in Kadesh–barneaH6947. 7FortyH705 yearsH8141 oldH1121 was I when MosesH4872 the servantH5650 of YhwhH3068 sentH7971 me from Kadesh–barneaH6947 to espy outH7270 the landH776; and I broughtH7725 him wordH1697 againH7725 as it was in mine heartH3824. 8Nevertheless my brethrenH251 that went upH5927 with me made the heartH3820 of the peopleH5971 meltH4529: but I whollyH4390 followedH310 YhwhH3068 my GodH430. 9And MosesH4872 swareH7650 on that dayH3117, sayingH559, Surely the landH776 whereon thy feetH7272 have troddenH1869 shall be thine inheritanceH5159, and thy children’sH1121 forH5704 everH5769, because thou hast whollyH4390 followedH310 YhwhH3068 my GodH430. 10And now, behold, YhwhH3068 hath kept me aliveH2421, as he saidH1696, these fortyH705 and fiveH2568 yearsH8141, even sinceH227 YhwhH3068 spakeH1696 this wordH1697 unto MosesH4872, while the children of IsraelH3478 wanderedH1980 in the wildernessH4057: and now, lo, I am this dayH3117 fourscoreH8084 and fiveH2568 yearsH8141 oldH1121.1 11As yet I am as strongH2389 this dayH3117 as I was in the dayH3117 that MosesH4872 sentH7971 me: as my strengthH3581 was then, even so is my strengthH3581 now, for warH4421, both to go outH3318, and to come inH935. 12Now therefore giveH5414 me this mountainH2022, whereof YhwhH3068 spakeH1696 in that dayH3117; for thou heardestH8085 in that dayH3117 how the AnakimsH6062 were there, and that the citiesH5892 were greatH1419 and fencedH1219: if so beH194 YhwhH3068 will be withH854 me, then I shall be able to drive them outH3423, as YhwhH3068 saidH1696.
