Revised Literal Translation
Ezekiel 14:2-5
2And the wordH1697 of YhwhH3068 came unto me, sayingH559,
3SonH1121 of manH120, these menH582 have set upH5927 their idolsH1544 in their heartH3820, and putH5414 the stumblingblockH4383 of their iniquityH5771 beforeH5227 their faceH6440: should I be enquiredH1875 of at allH1875 by them?
4Therefore speakH1696 unto them, and sayH559 unto them, Thus saithH559 the LordH136 YhwhH3069; Every manH376 of the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478 that setteth upH5927 his idolsH1544 in his heartH3820, and puttethH7760 the stumblingblockH4383 of his iniquityH5771 beforeH5227 his faceH6440, and comethH935 to the prophetH5030; I YhwhH3068 will answerH6030 him that comethH935 according to the multitudeH7230 of his idolsH1544;
5That I may takeH8610 the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478 in their own heartH3820, because they are all estrangedH2114 from me through their idolsH1544.
