Ezekiel 14:14-20
Though these threeH7969 menH582, NoahH5146, DanielH1840, and JobH347, were in itH8432, they should deliverH5337 but their own soulsH5315 by their righteousnessH6666, saithH5002 the LordH136 YhwhH3069.
IfH3863 I cause noisomeH7451 beastsH2416 to pass throughH5674 the landH776, and they spoilH7921 it, so that it be desolateH8077, that no man may pass throughH5674 becauseH6440 of the beastsH2416:1 16Though these threeH7969 menH582 were in itH8432, as I liveH2416, saithH5002 the LordH136 YhwhH3069, they shall deliverH5337 neither sonsH1121 nor daughtersH1323; they only shall be deliveredH5337, but the landH776 shall be desolateH8077.2
Or if I bringH935 a swordH2719 upon that landH776, and sayH559, SwordH2719, go throughH5674 the landH776; so that I cut offH3772 manH120 and beastH929 from it: 18Though these threeH7969 menH582 were in itH8432, as I liveH2416, saithH5002 the LordH136 YhwhH3069, they shall deliverH5337 neither sonsH1121 nor daughtersH1323, but they only shall be deliveredH5337 themselves.
Or if I sendH7971 a pestilenceH1698 into that landH776, and pour outH8210 my furyH2534 upon it in bloodH1818, to cut offH3772 from it manH120 and beastH929: 20Though NoahH5146, DanielH1840, and JobH347, were in itH8432, as I liveH2416, saithH5002 the LordH136 YhwhH3069, they shall deliverH5337 neither sonH1121 norH518 daughterH1323; they shall but deliverH5337 their own soulsH5315 by their righteousnessH6666.
