Deuteronomy 9:18-29
And I fell downH5307 beforeH6440 YhwhH3068, as at the firstH7223, fortyH705 daysH3117 and fortyH705 nightsH3915: I did neither eatH398 breadH3899, nor drinkH8354 waterH4325, because of all your sinsH2403 which ye sinnedH2398, in doingH6213 wickedlyH7451 in the sightH5869 of YhwhH3068, to provoke him to angerH3707.
For I was afraidH3025 ofH6440 the angerH639 and hot displeasureH2534, wherewith YhwhH3068 was wrothH7107 against you to destroyH8045 you. But YhwhH3068 hearkenedH8085 unto me at that timeH6471 also.
And YhwhH3068 was veryH3966 angryH599 with AaronH175 to have destroyedH8045 him: and I prayedH6419 for AaronH175 also the same timeH6256.
And I tookH3947 your sinH2403, the calfH5695 which ye had madeH6213, and burntH8313 it with fireH784, and stampedH3807 it, and groundH2912 it very smallH3190, even until it was as smallH1854 as dustH6083: and I castH7993 the dustH6083 thereof into the brookH5158 that descended outH3381 of the mountH2022.
And at TaberahH8404, and at MassahH4532, and at Kibroth–hattaavahH6914, ye provoked YhwhH3068 to wrathH7107.
Likewise when YhwhH3068 sentH7971 you from Kadesh–barneaH6947, sayingH559, Go upH5927 and possessH3423 the landH776 which I have givenH5414 you; then ye rebelledH4784 against the commandmentH6310 of YhwhH3068 your GodH430, and ye believedH539 him not, nor hearkenedH8085 to his voiceH6963.
Ye have been rebelliousH4784 against YhwhH3068 from the dayH3117 that I knewH3045 you.
Thus I fell downH5307 beforeH6440 YhwhH3068 fortyH705 daysH3117 and fortyH705 nightsH3915, as I fell downH5307 at the first; because YhwhH3068 had saidH559 he would destroyH8045 you.
I prayedH6419 therefore unto YhwhH3068, and saidH559, O LordH136 YhwhH3069, destroyH7843 not thy peopleH5971 and thine inheritanceH5159, which thou hast redeemedH6299 through thy greatnessH1433, which thou hast brought forthH3318 out of EgyptH4714 with a mightyH2389 handH3027.
RememberH2142 thy servantsH5650, AbrahamH85, IsaacH3327, and JacobH3290; lookH6437 not unto the stubbornnessH7190 of this peopleH5971, nor to their wickednessH7562, nor to their sinH2403:
Lest the landH776 whence thou broughtest us outH3318 sayH559, because YhwhH3068 was not ableH3201 to bringH935 them into the landH776 which he promisedH1696 them, and because he hatedH8135 them, he hath brought them outH3318 to slayH4191 them in the wildernessH4057.
Yet they are thy peopleH5971 and thine inheritanceH5159, which thou broughtest outH3318 by thy mightyH1419 powerH3581 and by thy stretched outH5186 armH2220.
