Revised Literal Translation
Deuteronomy 23:19-25
19Thou shalt not lend upon usuryH5391 to thy brotherH251; usuryH5392 of moneyH3701, usuryH5392 of victualsH400, usuryH5392 of any thingH1697 that is lent upon usuryH5391: 20Unto a strangerH5237 thou mayest lend upon usuryH5391; but unto thy brotherH251 thou shalt not lend upon usuryH5391: that YhwhH3068 thy GodH430 may blessH1288 thee in all that thou settestH4916 thine handH3027 to in the landH776 whither thou goestH935 to possessH3423 it.
21When thou shalt vowH5087 a vowH5088 unto YhwhH3068 thy GodH430, thou shalt not slackH309 to payH7999 it: for YhwhH3068 thy GodH430 will surelyH1875 requireH1875 it of thee; and it would be sinH2399 in thee. 22But if thou shalt forbearH2308 to vowH5087, it shall be no sinH2399 in thee. 23That which is gone outH4161 of thy lipsH8193 thou shalt keepH8104 and performH6213; even a freewill offeringH5071, according as thou hast vowedH5087 unto YhwhH3068 thy GodH430, which thou hast promisedH1696 with thy mouthH6310.
24When thou comestH935 into thy neighbour’sH7453 vineyardH3754, then thou mayest eatH398 grapesH6025 thy fillH7648 at thine own pleasureH5315; but thou shalt not putH5414 any in thy vesselH3627. 25When thou comestH935 into the standing grainH7054 of thy neighbourH7453, then thou mayest pluckH6998 the headsH4425 with thine handH3027; but thou shalt not moveH5130 a sickleH2770 unto thy neighbour’sH7453 standing grainH7054.
