Revised Literal Translation
Samuel 31:2-6
And the PhilistinesH6430 followed hardH1692 upon SaulH7586 and upon his sonsH1121; and the PhilistinesH6430 slewH5221 JonathanH3083, and AbinadabH41, and Malchi–shuaH4444, Saul’sH7586 sonsH1121.
And the battleH4421 went soreH3513 against SaulH7586, and the archersH7198H582H3384 hitH4672 him; and he was soreH3966 woundedH2342 of the archersH7198H582H3384.12
Then saidH559 SaulH7586 unto his armourbearerH3627H5375, DrawH8025 thy swordH2719, and thrust me throughH1856 therewith; lest these uncircumcisedH6189 comeH935 and thrust me throughH1856, and abuseH5953 me. But his armourbearerH3627H5375 wouldH14 not; for he was soreH3966 afraidH3372. Therefore SaulH7586 tookH3947 a swordH2719, and fellH5307 upon it.3
And when his armourbearerH3627H5375 sawH7200 that SaulH7586 was deadH4191, he fellH5307 likewise upon his swordH2719, and diedH4191 with him.
So SaulH7586 diedH4191, and his threeH7969 sonsH1121, and his armourbearerH3627H5375, and all his menH582, that same dayH3117 togetherH3162.
