Context of Ezekiel 41:20
19A human face looked towards the palm tree on one side. A lion's face looked towards the palm tree on the other side. Workers had cut these pictures on the walls around the inside of the whole temple building. The pictures of cherubs and palm trees covered all the walls, from the floor up to above the doors. 21There were square posts on each side of the entrance to the temple's big hall. The entrance to the Most Holy Place seemed the same. 22There was an altar that was made of wood. It was 1½ metres high and 1 metre wide on each side. Its corners, its sides and its base were all made of wood. The man said to me, ‘This is the table that stands here in front of the Lord.’

However, the carved images in the temple had only two faces. One face was a lion, the greatest of the wild animals. The other was a human, the highest part of God’s created order…Read the comment
- Jamieson–Fausset–Brown Commentary · v. 1-261. tabernacle--As in the measurement of the outer porch he had pointed to Solomon's temple, so here in the edifice itself, he points to the old tabernacle, which being eight boards in breadth (each one and a half cubits broad) would make in all twelve cubits, as here. On the interior it was only ten cubits.Read the comment
